‘A patient of mine comes with the symptoms that doctors have diagnosed as having mental illness known as schizophrenia. He was on medication but the patient refused to take because he believed the medication will not cure his illness and his father, a lecturer brings the patient to me for treatment. Initially the father and the patient believed that the disease is due to the works of devils and jinn’s. Prior coming to me the father has brought him to one ‘bomoh or dukun’ who claim that he can catch the jinn’s and put them in bottles. Five jinn’s have been caught and cost him five hundred ringgit but the condition of the son still remain the same. It happens that the son is studying in one madrasah and the ustaz of the madrasah have also read surah yassin around him and made him also to drink yassin water, but his condition remain the same. He was finally asked to stop studying in the madrasah and to go home as the ustaz has concluded that the jinn’s is too strong and the ustaz is incapable of driving the jinn away. With treatment of soul, mind and body, he finally gets cured from schizophrenia and continues to study in the same madrasah and going to graduate to become an alim and hafiz of Quran.’

‘A patient of mine age around 55 came to see me sometimes in the year 2003 with the disease that the doctor diagnosed as psoriasis. He has suffered from the disease for nearly twenty years and practically all doctors he has seen, said to him that the disease has no cure. He came to me with the great hope of getting cured. He was referred to me by a friend who has come to see me previously. After examining him I have found that the disease has some relationship to stress. After careful questioning I have found that the stress has relationship with some wrongdoing which he has done in the past. He feared that Allah will not forgive him. I treated his fear and all praise is to Allah he recovered from the fear. Along with the treatment of mind and soul I also treated his bowel and the skin. After about six month of treatment his psoriasis gets cured.’

‘Once a patient of mine age around 56 years old came with the complain of general weakness. He becomes so weak that he cannot even drive his motorbike. He got pain in the legs and the sole of the feet. He used to be always healthy and only after his only son died he frequently got sick. True to my expectation, he has quite a severe bowel problem. He seldom has bowel movement and when it comes, it comes with pain. He has gone to several doctors who have managed to give him only a pain killer. He saw me in TV3, and immediately he phoned TV3 to find out my whereabouts and on the next day he came to my clinic. On examination of his pupil, I found he suffered from severe stress but when I questioned him he tend to deny that he has stress. After sometimes, he admitted that he feel so sad on the demise of his only son who dies from sicknesses that doctors don’t even know. He said to me, I have only one son while others have many, but why Allah took my son and not their sons. He cannot accept the fact that his son dies. He become so stressful and to reduced his stress he goes to his son grave every morning at five o’clock, everyday for nearly three to four years. I told him not to be sad and I personally said that I am willing to be his son. He was so happy and I also told him that his son would not like him to be sick and to go to his grave everyday. I advise him to be happy and after treating his stress and his bowel movements for four months, he recovered from his sicknesses. He becomes healthy, able to ride motorbike and he starts to work again.’

‘In the year 2003, I have a patient age around 57 who comes from Klang, Selangor. He came with the complain that the skin of both his hand look like the scales of a fish. Both of the hand looks white and scaly. He feels very much ashamed to shake hands with others as both of his hands look very awfully bad. He has gone to see many skin specialise in the past twenty years but all the treatment failed to cure his skin problem. He lost trust with all doctors and he only comes to see me after much persuasion from his friend. When he came to see me, I examined his pupil, and from the examination I found that the disease has relationship with stress. I ask him if he has any fear or frustration and he said, no. I ask him if you have anyone that you do not like that you have to see him almost everyday. He answered, yes. He told me further that he has been keeping this to himself and the only person that knows about this is his wife. Now I am going to tell you because you are my doctor. He said when my wife is in her teenage years, once she has been left by her mother in the house alone. The mother of his wife has given the responsibility to look after her while the mother is away to the cousin who lives next door. Instead of taking care of his wife, the cousin rapes her and the story has been told to me by my wife on the first night of my marriage. Since then, whenever I see the cousin of my wife, I become very angry, but I kept it to myself. After treating his stress, bowel and the skin for about six months, he gets cured and the hands come back to looks normal again.

‘I know the story of one drug addict that takes drugs because he was so stress when he cannot marry the girl of his choice. He was a graduate from one of the university in the United State and when he comes home to Malaysia, he falls in love with one girl and both of them finally decided that they should get married. He said to me that he has spend so much money and times in order to wins the heart of the girl and the heart of the parent in laws to be. On the night before we are solemnised as husband and wife, at three o’clock in the morning, she gave a call to cancel the marriage. On receiving the news, I was very much stressed and I do not know what to do next. I was completely shaken and unable to think rationally. A friend of mine gave me drugs to take. He told me; only this drug can help you at the moment but do not get addicted to it. I took the drugs and to my amazement I start to be able to think and to do something. After a while I start to become weak again and there is strong urged within me that I should take the drugs again to keep me going. In this way he told me I got addicted to drug.
